OUR GOAL

Our Queens Adult Day Health Care Program is designed to enable those in our community, with physical or cognitive impairment, to remain at home for as long as possible.  The goal at Regal Heights ADHCP is to improve the quality of life for those in need of specialized care and to provide support for their families.  We aim to provide a compassionate and accommodating environment with a professional staff to handle our client’s needs.  Offering a variety of medical, nursing, rehabilitative, social and recreational programs is at the heart of our philosophy.

Personalized Meal

Breakfast, lunch and snacks are prepared daily to cater to our client’s individual needs and cultural preferences, Kosher and vegetarian meals are available.

Specialized Services

Upon evaluation, our expert interdisciplinary team will develop an individualized plan of care to meet the special needs of each client.  Multiple languages are spoken by our staff members.  Our warm and diverse staff includes:

  • Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Physical Therapists
  • Podiatrist
  • Optometrist
  • Psychologist

Scheduling Options

We are open Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm for personalized assistance.  Each client’s weekly schedule will depend upon the amount of personalized skilled care necessary and the level of home support available.  Registrants may attend up to 5 days a week.

Transportation

We gladly provide door-to-door ambulette transportation for clients in top-of-the-line handicapped-equipped vehicles.  Wheelchairs and walkers are easily accommodated.

 

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Applicants will submit a physical exam and a medical history from their primary care physician after meeting with our program nurse.

Our case-by-case analysis process allows us to provide the quality of care our clients deserve.  By taking time to assess every medical condition and concern we make sure our client’s needs are met.  Key components are acceptance to our program include:

  • Medical diagnosis
  • Level of personal skilled care required
  • Current support received in the community

Payment

Our Queens Adult Day Health Care program is a Medicaid funded program.  The private rate is available upon request.
