Regal Heights Rehabilitation and Health Care Center was a proud co-sponsor of The NYC Queens Community Board #3’s Leon Von Holden Health Care Expo 2017 on June 10, 2017. The health fair provided free medical screenings and information to community members. The event was made more enjoyable by the entertainment throughout the day, which included local musicians, dancers, Zumba, and costumed characters. Regal Heights provided free nutritional information, blood sugar testing, blood pressure checks, raffle prizes and give-aways. In addition to co-sponsoring the health fair, this year Regal Heights proudly partnered with the community board in their holiday gift collection that benefitted local shelters, and in the Youth Advisory Committee’s project of speaking with students from a local school on the importance of community service.
